Art Clay Silver Introduction/Explorations/Beginning
This workshop is the best way for students to get started with silver metal clay. In
this introductory workshop students will learn the basics of how to shape, texture, fire,
and finish their way to unique fine silver focal and accent pieces. Silver jewelry you can
make all in a day! Learn how to antique your pieces with Liver of Sulfur. Bring your
textures and rubber stamps. Length varies from 3 hours to a full-day. Prerequisite: none.
Cosmic Honu Pendant
Learn about stenciling, shaping,
and multi-part construction in this fun but challenging workshop. Participants will assembly
and decorate their own Cosmic Honu (sea turtle) Pendant. Each one will be unique. Wear your
beautiful pendant home to many compliments! One to two days. This is an
intermediate workshop. Experience with metal clay required.
Art Clay Silver Rings
Learn how to make rings with Art
Clay Silver. Create coil and band style rings and learn how to size them. The instructor
will demonstrate the various ways to decorate them. Wear your unique creation home!
Pre: Requires completion of ACS introduction level class.
Art Clay Silver Certification Level 1
This is a 3-day intensive
Art Clay Silver workshop intended to provide a thorough background on the various
clay types. You will create many exciting projects and upon completion of the workshop,
you will be a level 1, certified instructor and eligible for 35% off Art Clay products.
